Tap Options
These barrels can be purchased with a 7" wooden barrel tap. Please note the taps are not suitable for with pressurised drinks such as beer and cider. The tap is fitted by simply hammering in into a hole in the barrel that is 1" in diameter. The barrel tap can be purchased unfitted. This gives you the flexibility to drill a 1" hole at your chosen position on the barrel. It can also be purchased fitted (hole pre-drilled). When purchased fitted there is a choice of location. It can either be positioned on the side of the barrel, which is suitable for use with barrel standing on its end as shown in the above photograph. The alternative position is in the end of the barrel and this is suitable for use with barrel lying on its side. All capacities and dimensions are approximate.
